According to Della Corte, a bronze coin totally covered with concretion was found on the pavement towards the fountain, and also a bronze palmetto that perhaps would have decorated the stem of a candelabra at one time (0.035m high). On the high red zoccolo (plinth) of the said entrance was written an incomplete inscription, traced with carbon:
